The functioning of the library is being improved by utilizing newly installed Soul software allowing it to use barcoding for the issue and return of books, journals, etc. The library has a number of books, e-Books, printed back volumes of journals, online back volumes, dissertations, audio cassettes, video cassettes, VCDs, CDs/DVDs, and slides. The library works from 8 am to 12 am with the reading room is open 24 hours. Training sessions on the online use of journals were undertaken. 4 Literature search workshops were organized in conjunction with the Central Research Services. The library is kept open even on Sundays during and before university examinations. A total of 43 number books are located in the departmental library &more than 800 books are in the centralized library under LPPIMLT.
