  • B.Sc. - Clinical Lab Technology

     

    About Course and Duration : 3 Years
    Clinical Lab. Technology deals with the analysis of clinical specimens to support the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The course provides training to students in Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Blood Banking, etc. Students are trained to perform and interpret laboratory investigations; which are a very important area for patient care.

     

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Science) examination conducted by any recognized School certification Board or Equivalent examination; with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, and English. (A or B or AB group student)

     

    Scope / Outcome: At the end of the course, it is expected that the candidates would be able to work as efficient medical laboratory technicians or technologists in the various fields of clinical laboratories such as clinical pathology, hematology, histopathology, blood banking, biochemistry, bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, immunology, genetics, etc. at Hospitals, Medical Research Centers as well as at various Diagnostic Companies.

  • B.Sc. - Imaging Technology

     

    About Course and Duration: 4 Years Including 1 Year Internship
    Imaging Technology facilitates clinicians with the diagnosis and management through the creation of medical imaging using X-ray, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance. The students of this course are trained to assist radiologists to provide patients with a range of advanced radio-diagnostic examinations. As a part of the curriculum, all courses except CLT, are having a compulsory 1year internship during the 4th year.

     

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Science) examination conducted by any recognized School certification Board or Equivalent examination; with Physics, Chemistry Biology/Maths, and English. (A or B or AB group student)

     

    Scope / Outcome: The program is specifically designed to prepare the graduates to pursue their careers in the national and international growing healthcare industry. After successful completion of the program, a student will be capable of holding assignments in hospitals and healthcare institutions, and diagnostic centres. Students with an instinct to learn can do higher studies in specialized fields of study and can progress as Scientists and even enjoy faculty positions in academic institutions.

    The course has been designed to impart advanced and specialized technical training to eligible candidates in medical imaging techniques such as CT scans and MRIs, specialized PACS and QM, and other regular procedures.

  • B.Sc. - Respiratory Care Technology

     

    About Course and Duration: 4 Years Including 1 Year Internship
    The Respiratory Care technology course involves training in the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory problems including chronic lung problems and the respiratory components of acute multi-systemic conditions. Students will be trained in therapeutic Respiratory Technology such as airway management, oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, acid-base balance, etc., as well as, in diagnostic procedures like pulmonary function tests, etc. under the supervision of a Chest Physician or an Intensivist. As a part of the curriculum, all courses except CLT, are having a compulsory 1year internship during the 4th year.

     

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Science) examination conducted by any recognized School certification Board or Equivalent examination; with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, and English. (A or B or AB group student)

     

    Scope / Outcome: Candidates have ample opportunities in the healthcare industry. They can find jobs in the various departments of hospitals such as Respiratory Care, Anaesthesiology, and Pulmonary Medicine. Respiratory Therapists/Technologists are mostly appointed in Intensive care units, emergency departments, Operating rooms, Neonatal nurseries, and critical care teams in hospitals. Nursing homes, clinics, and health care centres, pulmonary rehab centres, pulmonary function testing labs also offer openings for respiratory therapists. They may also be employed in non-hospital environments like wellness centres, diagnostic laboratories, educational institutions, etc.

  • B.Sc. - Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology

     

    About Course and Duration: 4 Years Including 1 Year Internship
    The Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technologist are responsible for direct and indirect patient care, setting up equipment, and other operation theatre procedures. They assist surgeons and anesthetists before, during, and after the surgical procedures and assume responsibility for the completion of other functions as assigned. As a part of the curriculum, all courses except CLT, are having a compulsory 1year internship during the 4th year.

     

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Science) examination conducted by any recognized School certification Board or Equivalent examination; with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, and English. (A or B or AB group student)

     

    Scope / Outcome: The course equips the professional to take complete care of the surgical procedures. From pre-and post-operation in the theatre to assisting in giving the right dose of anesthesia to the patients, the demand for trained and skilled OT professionals is growing day by day. They are not just assistants to surgeons but they help in maintaining the proper decorum and code of conduct in OT, thereby following NABH protocols. Some professionals opt for further higher degrees for enhancing their educational qualifications and job promotions. This course is a creative amalgamation of skilled labor with intuitive internship personal skills in the healthcare sector.

  • B.Sc. - Radiotherapy Technology

     

    About Course and Duration: 4 Years Including 1 Year Internship
    Radiotherapy technology deals with the principles and practice of radiation therapy through advanced technology namely three-dimensional conformal radiation therapies and High dose rate Image Guided brachytherapy etc; which are useful for the treatment of cancer patients. Students in this course shall be trained to assist the Radiation Oncologist in such procedures.

    As a part of the curriculum, all courses except CLT, are having a compulsory 1year internship during the 4th year. Approved by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).

     

    Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Science) examination conducted by any recognized School certification Board or Equivalent examination; with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, and English. (A or B or AB group student)

     

    Scope / Outcome: Candidates work as therapeutic radiographers delivering technically advanced as well as caring services in hospitals around the world. The course is also beneficial for further studies such as M.Sc. and Ph.D.

    The course will help to use software & systems for treatment & planning. Candidates also learn to apply theory to practice and tailor the treatment to the patients.
